What this power is I cannot say; all I know is that it exists and it becomes available only when a man is in that state of mind in which he knows exactly what he wants and is fully determined not to quit until he finds it.
Alexander Graham Bell
For years, I thought I understood commitment and perseverance. stubborn Doing many tries.
The ultimate secret is about faithfulness. In order to get what you want, you must be willing to do whatever it takes. To put it plainly, “whatever it takes” doesn’t include illegal, unethical, or harmful actions.
Exactly what do I mean by “willingness”? You must always remember:
My goal is at the end of these 5 steps. I’ll do the steps necessary to get to my goal. I’ll take every single step necessary to get to my goal.
As you start out, you won’t be sure how many steps it will take to get to your goal. I don’t care. The only way to succeed is to be willing to make a serious effort, no matter how many steps it takes.
What is persistence’s role? You must first be committed to something before you will persist to achieve it. Once you’ve made a commitment to achieve your goal, you will pursue it until you reach your goal.

Commitment: The “Magic”
When you are dedicated and determined, you begin to attract the people and opportunities necessary to reach your goal. To illustrate, you may “stumble upon” a literary agent or an advice show dedicated to your new career if you decide to become a best-selling author.
These resources have always existed. It’s just that you never looked for them. Once you set your mind to something, you visualise how you’ll succeed. After that, your mind goes to work, attracting events and circumstances that help bring your vision to life. While it is true that this is not an overnight process, you must seize opportunities as they appear.
Commitment unleashes an inexhaustible source of magical power.
Time to Commit
Assume you have a goal in mind. Next, ask yourself: “Will I be willing to go to extremes to reach this goal?” A true answer is “I’ll do nearly anything, except that I will not do .”
If you’re not committed, you’re likely to be derailed. If it doesn’t make money after six months, I’ll get rid of it. I’ll walk away if things don’t work out. This is not a successful mentality.
If David Baldacci had said, “I’ll give it a year and see what happens,” where would he be? Will you resign? He would have missed out on the opportunity to do what he loves: have financial independence. follow his dreams
I’m not suggesting that you blindly charge ahead without first creating a strategy. Setting goals, deadlines, and budgets is critical to successfully pursuing your goals. It’s impossible to predict how long it will take to achieve your goal and to avoid the various obstacles that will confront you along the way.
Success or failure hinges on commitment. The committed ones will not give up, no matter what. If it takes longer than they anticipated, that’s okay. People who aren’t committed will bail when things don’t go their way.
After learning about the power of commitment, you must now act on it. Do it. Identify an unreachable goal. Commit to achieving this goal. Commit to whatever it takes to achieve this goal. Be ready to spot and seize new opportunities that will present themselves. Perseverance is key!
